About Our Founder

Hi, I'm Elliott Dean

Founder of ELS Construction Ltd, based in Reading, Berkshire.

I’ve spent over two decades working across the construction industry, developing a deep understanding of the trades and a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and professionalism. My journey started in a completely different world; A busy pub kitchen ,where I first learned the value of teamwork, consistency, and hard graft.

Eventually, I swapped the kitchen heat for the building site, starting alongside my dad fitting flooring and quickly discovering a passion for practical, hands-on work. From there, I worked my way up through various trades, gaining experience in brickwork, groundwork, and general construction. I’ve always been someone who learns by doing and that drive to keep improving has stayed with me ever since.

In 2014, I launched ELS Construction Ltd to bring together everything I’d learned ; A commitment to high standards, honest communication, and getting the job done properly. Over the years, I’ve worked on a wide range of projects, from residential improvements to bespoke, large-scale construction work, always with the same focus on detail and integrity.

Outside of work, I’m a husband and dad to two amazing boys who keep me grounded and remind me why I do what I do. Family comes first, and it’s their future that motivates me to keep pushing for growth, balance, and long-term success.

For me, construction has never just been about the work itself — it’s about building trust, creating opportunities, and shaping a legacy that lasts.
